Dominic Gallello - President & CEO, MSC Software

Mr. Gallello is an established leader who brings to MSC a deep background in design software. Early in his career, he spent 11 years at Intergraph, leading the company's businesses in both China and Japan. Following his time with Intergraph, Mr. Gallello spent 10 years at Autodesk, serving as EVP Asia/Pacific, establishing and running the high growth Mechanical Division and later served as EVP for all design and engineering related products. Throughout his career, Mr. Gallello has established a track record of building great products, driving an intense customer focus and building global brands. He is on the Corporate Member Advisory Committee for Aviation and Aeronautics for the American Institute of Aeronautics & Astronautics (AIAA) and is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Industry Leadership Coalition. He also serves on the Leadership Council for The Henry Samueli School of Engineering, University of California. In 2013, Gallello was named a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year competition for Orange County, California, and the "Stevie" Executive of the Year Award for computer software companies of 500 or more employees. Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year recognizes both seasoned and emerging business leaders for bringing innovative companies to success. The Stevie -- or American Business Awards -- honors outstanding achievements and positive contributions by executives from companies of any size in a wide variety of industries. Mr. Gallello holds both BA and MBA degrees from Monmouth University.

Takehiko Kato - President, MSC Software Japan

Mr. Kato is a pioneer in the Japanese CAE market. He has over 25 years experience in the CAE industry and over 30 years in FEM. Mr. Kato started his career with Cray Research Inc. as a Structural Analysis Specialist. During his tenure at Cray and SGI as Marketing Director, Sales Director, and Managing Director, he played a major role in shaping the HPC market in Japan. He later went on to be Executive Vice President of Engineous Software, Inc. and Representative Director/President of Engineous Japan, Inc., covering the Asia/Pacific Region where he consecutively generated more than 50% of the company's worldwide revenue. Most recently, Mr. Kato was the General Manager of SLM Asia/Pacific at Dassault Systemes Simulia Corp. as result of the Engineous acquisition of Dassault Systemes. Mr. Kato is often invited as keynote speaker and lecturer for various academic and industrial institutions. He holds an MS Degree from the Pennsylvania State University and was elected as a fellow member of JSME (Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers) for his contribution on Computational Mechanics and Design Engineering.

Dr. Roger Assaker - CEO, e-Xstream Engineering & Chief Material Strategist, MSC Software

Roger holds a PhD and MS in Aerospace Engineering with a strong focus on nonlinear computational mechanics where he totals more than 20 years of experience. Roger complemented his engineering education with an MBA in International Business and several advanced technology, business and entrepreneurship courses from prestigious universities such as MIT. In parallel to growing e-Xstream to be the world leader in advanced composite modeling, Roger is the Vice Chairman of NAFEMS Composite Working Group and active member of other technical material associations such as SPE and SAMPE.

Masayuki Kuba - President , Software Cradle

Mr. Kuba has over 25years experience in the CAE industry and with his experience, he has long been one of the technical leader in Software Cradle. Mr Kuba has started his career with Asahi Kasei Corporation, (formerly Asahi Chemical Industry Co., Ltd) as CAE engineer and worked on plant design and residential environment. After he joined Software Cradle, he worked on many analysis cases to support the users as a reasional leader of its group. He is also managing development group for over 10years. He holds an master degree from Kyoto University.

Dr. Ted Wertheimer - Dir Product Mgmt, MSC Software

Dr. Ted Wertheimer, has over 37 years of experience in finite element development, most of which is focused in the fields on material nonlinearities, manufacturing, thermal sciences and software architectures. He was the chief developer of the Marc finite element program. Currently he is responsible for the product management of the MSC solver suite. Dr. Wertheimer holds a BS degree in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from the University of Illinois, and MS and PhD degrees in Applied Mechanics from Stanford University. Previous to joining MSC he was Vice President of Engineer at Marc Analysis Research Corp. Ted’s development contributions have included contact analysis, material modeling and multi-physics. He has taught numerous classes both practical and theoretical on the use to finite element analysis and published numerous papers.

Dr. Benoît Van den Nieuwenhof - Chief Technology Officier, Free Field Technologies (FFT), an MSC Software Company

Dr. Benoît holds a PhD in Stochastic Finite Elements in Structural Dynamics, from the Université Catholique de Louvain, under the supervision of Dr. Jean-Pierre Coyette, one of the founding fathers of Actran, the leading Acoustics Simulation software. Dr. Benoît has been working for over 15 years in the field of FE-based Structural Dynamics and Vibro-acoustics, having helped many companies across the world to take their acoustics simulation to the next level. As the CTO, Dr. Benoît heads the R&D team at FFT, building new capabilities in the Actran software for Acoustic, Vibro-acoustic and Aero-acoustic simulation, focused on solving customer challenges.

Vidya Shankar - Dir Product Mgmt, MSC Software

Vidya Shankar, Director, Product Management at MSC Software has over 30 years of experience in CAE, most of which is focused on providing CAE services in Automotive Engineering. He has been providing CAE services in the area of NVH, Crash, Durability, Chassis & Powertrain CAE to global automotive OEMs and their Tier 1 & 2 suppliers. He is also providing custom CAE services by automating their CAE best practices through Process Automation Technology. Vidya Shankar holds a BS degree in Civil Engineering from University of Mysore, India and a MS degree from Michigan State University in Engineering Mechanics. He has been working in metro Detroit since 1982.

Leo Kilfoy - General Manager (ELM) Engineering Lifecycle Management Business Unit, MSC Software

Leo Kilfoy is the General Manager of Engineering Lifecycle Management Business Unit, which includes SimManager Product Development and Services. Leo started his career at McDonnell Douglas in a Composites R&D group performing stress analysis and methods development of primary composite structures for commercial aircraft. He transferred to the Space Station Program doing sizing and detailed stress analysis. During this tenure, he served as a key member for a NASA flight experiment that was launched on Shuttle Mission STS-37 which evaluated man rated loads in space. Finally, he worked in an Advanced Programs group on the High Speed Civil Transport (HSCT) project sizing primary aircraft structure before joining MSC (PDA Engineering). Over the past 8 years, Leo has held various roles in SimManager Product Development and North American Services. He has worked with our customers worldwide to successfully deploy SimManager helping them realize a return on their investment. There have been a number of challenging engagements he turned into success stories for our customers and for MSC.

Stefan Zimmer, Senior Director – Global Sales & Operations, Simufact Engineering an MSC Software Company

Mr. Stefan Zimmer is the Director EMEA and APAC Operations at Simufact Engineering. Stefan Zimmer holds a degree in physics and brings with him several years of experience as Sales Manager for simulation and testing solutions. In his previous employment, Stefan Zimmer was responsible for software and measurement systems sales. This experience demonstrates his knowledge of virtual and physical development stages in various industries. He has been closely working with various Indian organizations and has strong relationships with various manufacturing institutes in India as well.

Dr. Ralph Bernhardt - Director, Technical Sales Support Global, Simufact Engineering an MSC Software Company

Dr. Ralph Bernhardt is the Director Technical Sales Support Global at Simufact Engineering GmbH. He holds a diploma and PhD grade from Institute of Metal Forming Sciences, Mining Academy of Freiberg (Germany). Dr. Ralph was a scientific co-worker at the same institute and was responsible for two public funded AiF projects. He has extensive experience working in the Metal Forming Sector with companies like CEGELEC AEG Anlagen und Antriebssysteme GmbH in Berlin , Peddinghaus Group etc. He has also worked with Indian companies like Bharat Forge as Innovation Manager where he was responsible for worldwide training for simulation users and development of new technologies (two patent applications for new forging processes). He is employed with Simufact since 2011.
